Police: Drunk Driver Crashed Into Convenience Store In Pelham, NH

PELHAM, NH (CBS)- A New Hampshire man is facing drunk driving charges after crashing into a convenience store on Thursday.

Pelham Police responded to a car crash around 6:30 p.m. at Ray's Stateline, a convenience store on Mammoth Road.

When they arrived, officers say the driver, Bernard Zannoni, 56 of Pelham, appeared to be drunk. He was not hurt in the crash.

After taking field sobriety tests, Zannoni was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

Zannoni was also charged with having an open container of alcohol.

The building suffered significant damage, but no one inside the building was injured.
