Felger & Mazz: May 23, 2013

Felger and Massarotti are broadcasting from Ace Ticket Studio at Kenmore and discussing the Boston Red Sox and the return of Terry Francona. Francona returns to Fenway as the manager of the Cleveland Indians. Tonight kicks off a four-game series for the Sox against the Tribe. Are the Sox better off with Francona or current manager John Farrell? Have there been any second guesses with John Farrell since taking over as Sox manager? The guys also continue to talk about Doc Rivers' future as the Boston Celtics head coach. Does Doc have all the power when it comes to deciding whether or not he will return to Boston? In New England Patriots new, Tom Brady spoke today and said that his new contract had no connections to bringing Wes Welker back to New England.

Hour 1

In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz continued to talk about Terry Francona's return to Fenway as the Cleveland Indians manager. The guys went on to talk about the NHL playoffs and the series between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Ottawa Senators. The Penguins took a 3-1 series lead with their 7-3 win over the Senators last night. If the Bruins and Penguins advance, would the B's stand a chance?

Hour 2

During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the guys discussed the NBA Playoffs series between the Miami Heat and the Indian Pacers. The Heat took a 1-0 series lead with their 103-102 overtime win over the Pacers. Why would Pacers coach, Frank Vogel, have center Roy Hibbert on the bench in the final seconds of overtime? Boston Celtics CEO Wyc Grousbeck joined the guys to discuss the Celtics off-season and Doc Rivers' future in Boston.

Hour 3

In the fourth and final hour, Felger and Mazz focused on the Boston Bruins and tonight's Game 4 against the Rangers in New York. With a .948 save percentage, has Tuukka Rask silenced some critics? If the B's and Pens advance, would the Bruins have a chance? What are the expectations for tonight's Game 4? Finally, it's The Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
