Watertown Manhunt: The Early Hours.

Podcast

The police action in Watertown that culminated in the capture of Boston Marathon bombing suspect number two began after many WBZ listeners had gone to bed for the night, and those folks may have missed the early coverage of events as they happened.

In order to give everyone an opportunity to understand what the early breaking news coverage sounded like on WBZ NewsRadio 1030, I am posting clips we recorded of the news as it was happening through the overnight hours.

This audio includes live coverage in the field by Karen Twomey. Pete LaGace was at the news desk and Mark Lovallo was in master control. Before long, many other WBZ news people had arrived at the station and they worked long and intense hours as events unfolded.
