AMHERST (AP) — Runners who were unable to complete the Boston Marathon are being invited to cross a symbolic finish line at the University of Massachusetts’ spring football game.

Coach Charley Molnar, an avid runner, says he wants those who trained for the event to be able to celebrate their achievement. The race was stopped after the bombings near the finish line that killed three people and injured more than 170.
