Ethen Harrison was charged Friday in court with reckless endangerment of a child, assault and battery on a child causing substantial bodily injury, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The "dangerous weapon," according to police, was the floor of the apartment.

The District Attorney's office told the court that during the investigation following Eluziario's death,
Harrison admitted to "acts that were consistent with the injuries sustained by the infant."

Authorities say Harrison was alone with the infant just prior to her hospitalization.

An autopsy on the child was also planned for Friday.

Officials say Harrison lived in the same apartment as Eluziario's mother, but he was not the child's biological father.
