One Last Thing: Lexington School Wins National Prize For Synthetic Field

LEXINGTON (CBS) - In the movie "Field of Dreams" the saying was 'if you build it, they will come.'"

Well that has been true for the Cotting School in Lexington.

Their students who have disabilities never got much of a chance to play outside.

There was no field that was handicapped accessible.

And with wheelchairs you can't use real grass, so the school put in a synthetic turf.

And it has been amazing for all their students.

That new field got its time to shine when there was a national search done by the Synthetic Turf Council.

They named the Cotting School the grand prize winner of their search for the real field of dreams.

Their prize? $1,000
