FOXBORO (CBS) – A Kingston man is facing burglary charges after a middle school student returning home from class helped police catch a man who just broke into her family’s home.

“I was like what’s happening? I was just hoping it was a scary nightmare, but it wasn’t,” says Haily. “Every cabinet was open, everything was on the ground.”
Officers showed up and found a neighbor’s rear door was also damaged.READ MORE: These Are The Most Popular Dog Names In Boston, According To Licensing Data
Police went inside that neighbor’s home and found the suspect, 30-year-old Daniel Callahan, hiding in the basement.
“We he came out, I was just terrified,” says Haily. ‘I’m just still really creeped out.”

He’s being held on $25,000 cash bail.
