Voter Registration For State Primary Ends Friday

BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts residents who want to vote in the September state primary have until Friday to file registration forms with their local voting officials.

Secretary of State William Galvin's office said residents must file their voter registrations and party enrollment changes by Aug. 17.

Voter registration forms can be found online at the Secretary of State's website and must be printed out and hand signed before they are handed in to the resident's town clerk or city elections department. The forms are also available in Spanish and Chinese.

Massachusetts residents looking to register to vote must be a U.S. citizen and 18 years old on or before Sept. 6 — the date of the Primary Election.
