Rescuers Find Dog Tied To Pipe In Abandoned Warehouse

LEOMINSTER (CBS) - A dog that had been left abandoned for several days in a vacant Leominster warehouse is recovering.

Rescue crews from the Animal Rescue League of Boston freed the abandoned pit bull, which was tied to pipe in that warehouse.

The dog was found cowering in a far corner of the filthy warehouse. She was tethered by a short leash to a vertical pipe.

The dog, once freed, was said to be in good spirits, and even thanked ARL rescuers with a sloppy kiss.
