11-Year-Old Clinton Boy Raises Money For Disease Research
CLINTON (CBS) - Since he was four years old, Matthew Pulnik of Clinton has been all about giving.
He had a lemonade stand to raise money for victims of Hurricane Katrina and has not stopped trying to help others.
This past weekend he put on another fundraiser, a carnival in his backyard, and in just three hours he raised $1600.
This time the money will help with research for a rare disease called Diamond Blackfan Anemia.
Some of his family friends have the disease and he's now putting his efforts to raise awareness and work towards a cure.
