It's going to be a fantastic Friday with sunshine and milder high temperatures in the lower to middle 70s inland...60s coast as a seabreeze kicks in this afternoon.

Saturday will still be under the control of a 500h ridge and a surface high.  So, sunshine will top the forecast with highs nearing 80 inland...65-70 coast due to the seabreeze.

Sunday will be sunny and even hotter as temps soar into the lower 80s inland....67-72 for the coast because of an afternoon seabreeze once again. More high clouds can be expected towards the Cape and Islands as an inverted trough, originating from the southeastern U.S., slowly moves northward.

Clouds will be increasing Sunday night into Monday. Showers will develop from south to north on Monday. This will be in conjunction with an east-northeast wind. Highs will be cooler in the middle 60s to lower 70s.  We will hold onto a chance of showers on Tuesday and a few showers/thunder on Wednesday as well.

Beach and Boating this weekend:  Sunshine, cool onshore wind, 1-3 ft. seas, 50-55 water temperatures.  You can expect more high clouds, a gustier NE wind, and choppier seas as you head towards Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard and points south.

Stargazers:  This weekend...new moon phase is approaching, but we will still be under star-filled sky this weekend.

*Sneak Peek...According to the most trustworthy long-range model (EURO), Memorial Day weekend is lookin' good. We shall see how it plays out.

Happy FRRRiday!
