BOSTON (CBS) – Another rite of Spring showed up on Boston’s Public Garden Saturday. The Swan Boats are back in business. Mayor Menino took the inaugural ride with two of his grandchildren.
It marks the 136th consecutive year that the Swan Boats have set sail in the lagoon at the Public Garden.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Kim Tunnicliffe reports
The same owners, the Paget family, have run the business since it started in 1877.
