One Last Thing: A Parent's Dream Come True

CAMBRIDGE (CBS) - Parents all have dreams for their kids. And such was the case for Shelia Berry.

Seventeen years ago, her daughter Kate was born eight weeks premature and weighed just 3lb, 8oz.

The first two months of her life were spent at Mount Auburn Hospital.

It was there, Shelia would look out over the Charles, watching crew teams row past.

She said one day her little girl would be healthy enough to do that.

At 17, Kate is on the crew team at Buckingham Browne and Nichols.

Kate and her mom went back to mount auburn to see Sue Mahoney, the nurse who cared for her… nice for her to see how the once-very-little baby turned out.
