BOSTON (CBS) - Those sympathetic with the 'Occupy' movement plan to rally Monday against the MBTA's plans to cut service and raise fares.

"The proposed MBTA service cuts and fare hikes are the perfect way to appease elected officials and their corporate partners by draining the remaining resources of the 99%," said Brett West, an organizer for Occupy Boston.

Protesters from different sections of the city plan to rally at around 4:30 p.m. in Copley Square to "Save the T."

Then, the protesters will attend Monday night's public hearing about the MBTA's proposed plan, which calls for service cuts and higher fares in order to close a $185 million budget gap.
