Man Tries To Abduct NH Student At Bus Stop

GOFFSTOWN, N.H. (AP) — Police in Goffstown, N.H., say a man in a vehicle tried to abduct a student who was at a bus stop.

Police say the man drove by shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday and asked the female student if she needed a ride. Police said he then grabbed her by the jacket through an open car door window.

Police said the girl lost her balance and hit her face on the driver side door before falling to the ground. The man immediately left.

The man was described as about 30 to 40 years old with a large scar across his forehead. Police are seeking the public's help in finding him.
