Framingham State Student Killed In Crash

FRAMINGHAM (CBS) - A Framingham State college student was killed in a crash early Saturday morning.

The school identified 20-year-old Ashley Donahue of Bridgewater as the passenger who died in a crash on Badger Road in Framingham.

Three other students were hurt in the accident.

One was flown to Massachusetts General Hospital, while the other two were being treated at the MetroWest Medical Center.

Framingham State issued a statement saying the school community is devastated by the loss.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ashley's family, friends and fellow students, as well as the family and friends of the other students involved," Framingham State President Timothy J. Flanagan said. "Framingham State is a small, close-knit community. Every one of us, whether student, faculty or staff, feels this loss."

The University also said counseling services were being offered for students and employees.

Framingham and State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
