Wondering why all products requiring a pump (shampoo-lotion-hand sanitizer-etc) do not have a pump long enough to reach the bottom of the container??? – Jean, Leyden
Oh…that’s one of my pet peeves, too. I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s because the manufacturers want us to throw away some of the product so we have to buy a new one sooner. However, a designer would probably say if the tube hit the bottom of the container it wouldn’t work. But I’m sticking with the evil manufacturer theory. Here’s an explanation from “the beauty brains” who purport to be “scientists” answering cosmetic questions.
Of course you can always take off the pump thing and shake out the remains. Here’s an idea about how to get everything out of the container relatively easy.
Do you bother trying to get every last drop out of the container?
