Patrick Visits Obama's New Hampshire Headquarters

WINDHAM, N.H. (AP) — Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick is coming to New Hampshire to help energize President Barack Obama's re-election campaign in the first-in-the-nation primary state.

Patrick is addressing the New Hampshire Democratic Party's annual Jefferson Jackson dinner in Windham on Saturday. New Hampshire Sen. Jeanne Shaheen also is speaking.

Earlier in the day, the Massachusetts Democrat will be celebrating the opening of the Obama for America campaign field office in Portsmouth.

Patrick has said that he will help campaign for the president — a fellow Chicagoan and personal friend — as much as his schedule as governor allows during the coming year.

Patrick formed his own political action committee to help pay for his travels on behalf of Obama and the national Democratic Party.
