NANTUCKET (AP) – The body of a 27-year-old man has been recovered after he failed to resurface from a dive near the wreck of the Andrea Doria off Nantucket.
The Coast Guard says fellow divers found the man’s body on Sunday, several hours after he was reported missing from a chartered vessel that was conducting recreational diving at the site. The man’s name has not been released.READ MORE: Kyle Van Noy Hosts Christmas Party For Foster Children In Need

The wreck of the Andrea Doria lies in about 200 feet of water. The Italian luxury vessel sank after a collision at sea in 1956 and rests on its side about 50 miles south of Nantucket.
