Phantom Gourmet: New Harborside Restaurants

BOSTON (CBS) -- Two of Boston's hottest new restaurants have opened right on the harbor, and tonight, Dan Andelman of the Phantom Gourmet is digging in.

Brand new to the Boston waterfront, Legal Harborside is a three-tiered, twenty-thousand square foot seafood palace with a casual first floor, refined dining on the second floor, and a massive rooftop deck featuring an eye-catching retractable roof.

In addition to Legal's famous clam chowder, they're serving up butter-poached lobster, and shrimp cocktail served inside a meticulously crafted ice globe.

Right next door, Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse will have you seeing double with their huge selection of hand-cut steaks, like the 32-ounce Wagyu longbone, with luxurious sides like lobster mac and cheese and king crab gnocchi.

"When you walk in you know you're at a Del Frisco's," general manager Gregg Rinaldi says. "It's just high energy.  The hustle and bustle, it's just completely over the top."

And right in the same complex, there are even more popular restaurants, including the newest Jerry Remy's Sports Bar and the upscale Mexican eatery Temazcal Tequila Cantina.

For more food and fun, watch the Phantom Gourmet Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on TV38.
