Leone said that after the shooting, police questioned Arthur Cinelli, who said he knew nothing about it.
Then, they found his cell phone, which contained text messages to his brother Dom, minutes before the robbery.
“One message said ‘be careful, and wear full headgear. Also, the snow is an opportunity, but also a risk,’” Leone said.
When asked by reporters why Arthur wasn’t physically involved in the robbery, if he helped plan it, Leone said, “Arthur had hip surgery just days before… so he was home in Newburyport.”MORE NEWS: Driver Struck And Killed By Commuter Rail Train At Wilmington Crossing
Arthur Cinelli is being held in New Hampshire by federal agents, on unrelated drug charges.
