Troy Murphy Excited To Join Celtics
BOSTON (CBS) - The newest Celtic has arrived in Boston.
Troy Murphy officially signed with his new team, but is unsure if he'll hit the floor against the Phoenix Suns Wednesday night.
When WBZ-TV's Steve Burton asked if he wanted to play, Murphy smiled.
"Of course. Always."

The 6-11 forward will give the Celtics another big man in the wake of the Kendrick Perkins trade last week. He had options other than Boston, including more playing time in Miami, but chose the Celtics for their team concept.
Troy Murphy Hits The Floor With His New Team
"Just the way the guys play, the way they look for each other," Murphy said of his decision to join the Celtics. "The team concept that they have was something I wanted to be a part of."
