Man Found Shot To Death On N.H. Highway

AUBURN, N.H. (CBS/AP) -- The New Hampshire Attorney General's office says the death of a man found dead in a pickup truck on a state highway is a homicide.

State police found the body after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police had received a call about an abandoned black pickup in the right breakdown lane of Route 101 west, between exits 1 and 2 in Auburn and went to check it out.

Authorities say the victim is Thomas Enquist, Sr., 42, of Londonderry.

An autopsy was completed Wednesday in which the state medical examiner concluded Enquist was shot to death.

State police are asking for information from anyone traveling on Route 101 westbound on Tuesday night who may have seen the pickup or have information on the vehicle.
