Podcast

Arbella Insurance Group of Quincy has come up with a high-tech driving simulator that teaches teens and other young drivers the hazards of distracted driving and how to avoid being distracted. John Donohue is the Chairman, President and CEO of Arbella.

The trailer is making various stops throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island to teach teen drivers what they call Distractology 101. The simulator talks to you and tells you the dangers of distracted driving.

Someone texting behind the wheel is 23-times more likely to get into an accident. The simulator is the brainchild of Doctor Don Fisher of U-Mass/Amherst.

16-year-old Cody Chase of Easton has taken the Distractology 101 course.
