Fan Guide To 2016 Patriots Training Camp

Football is back in New England.Gillette Stadium will be bustling again as the New England Patriots kick off training camp on July 27, putting in the groundwork for what they hope is another Super Bowl season.

Training camp practices will run through August and are free and open to the public on the practice field next to Gillette Stadium. On the days that inclement weather forces the Patriots to practice indoors, fans will not be able to attend.

The following practices have already been announced by the team, and  more info and future dates will be posted on the team's website throughout camp:

WEDNESDAY, JULY 27

Players are due to report to Gillette Stadium (No practices scheduled)

THURSDAY, JULY 28

9:15 a.m.–11:45 a.m.: Morning Practice
10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Patriots Fan Zone

FRIDAY, JULY 29

9:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m.: Morning Practice
10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Fan Zone

SATURDAY, JULY 30

9:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m.: Morning Practice
10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Fan Zone

SUNDAY, JULY 31

9:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m.: Morning Practice
10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Fan Zone

MONDAY,AUGUST 1

5 p.m.: 2016 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony for Kevin Faulk outside The Hall at Patriot Place
7 p.m.: In-stadium ticketed practice for Patriots season ticket members and Foxborough residents.

Joint PracticesThe Patriots will also hold joint practices sessions with both the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears.

Aug. 9-10: Joint practice sessions with the New Orleans Saints
Aug. 11: Patriots host the New Orleans Saints in the 2016 preseason opener at 7:30 p.m.
Aug 15-16: Joint practice sessions with the Chicago Bears
Aug. 18: Patriots host the Chicago Bears at 8:00 p.m.

ParkingFans can park for free as they head to Foxboro for training camp. If you're arriving from the north, you should enter the parking lot through the P6 entrance. Fans coming from the south can enter the parking lot through the P8 entrance. For a complete map of Gillette Stadium's parking lots, visit the team's website.

ConcessionsDuring practices, fans can buy concessions such as sausages, hot dogs, frozen lemonade, and cold drinks, and more. Concession stands are located throughout the practice facility and surrounding area.

AutographsFans looking to get up close with their favorite Patriots are in luck. Each day, several players are chosen to make their way around the practice field to sign autographs for fans.

Fan ZoneIn the parking lot near the Patriots practice facility is a Fan Zone open to people of all ages. The football-themed area features games, music, concessions and appearances from Patriots alumni and cheerleaders.
Prohibited ItemsNot all items can be brought in to Patriots training camp. Alcohol is prohibited, as are bullhorns and air horns, coolers, video cameras and several other items. For a complete list of prohibited items, visit the Training Camp section of the Patriots website.

The Hall At Patriot PlaceIn addition to looking at what this year's team has to offer, fans can also take a look at Patriot past. The Hall at Patriots Place has a host of interactive displays and artifacts. A new exhibit for this year is the Super Bowl Experience. This allows fans to view all four of the franchise's Lombardi trophies and Super Bowl rings. Entrance to the facility is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and active military, $5 for children 5-12 years old, and free of charge for children under five.
