The first day of fall is right around the corner, meaning you'll soon be forced into activities such as apple picking, going on hay rides through pumpkin patches and taking selfies in front of the changing leaves. Joy.

We know these activities may be unavoidable, but lucky for you we also know where you can grab some grub and salvage your sanity.

Earls Kitchen and Bar was created with your recovery needs in mind: burgers and beer. Well, there's more on the menu than that, but it's still a man's paradise with menu items such as sandwiches, pasta, and Certified Angus Beef steaks. And don't worry; there won't be a pumpkin spice latte in sight (just stay off of Instagram).

You're going to be freezing after standing in that apple orchard, waiting for the never ending paper bag to be filled with apples you won't even end up eating. Regain the feeling in your fingers with a big ol' bowl of delicious clam chowda. What's next? Meat. Eat away the pain of the hay ride with a rack of Slow Braised BBQ Back Ribs. Polish it off with a slice of pumpkin pie and drink away the memories of thousands of selfies with a nice cold one.

Now that's fall done right.
