You’ll also find that the quality of the merchandise is high, so you can expect to be wearing your purchase for years to come. The shirts and hoodies feature thick fabrics and embroidery, putting the gear at ’47 ahead of most of the mass produced and shoddily made shirts you’ll pick up near Fenway. Yes, The Red Sox Team Store can be a little… touristy. But no matter how many tourists you have to elbow out of your way, you can’t beat the location, which, as the Team Store likes to point out, is just 67 feet from Fenway. While the majority of the women’s sports team apparel you find here will be, of course, Rod Sox merchandise, it is carrying an increasing amount of other professional Boston sports teams, as well. Shoppers will find a mix of classic sports team apparel designs and brand new looks that haven’t hit most of the other stores yet.
