Enjoy some fall fun by getting lost in some of New England's best corn mazes. After a hayride and a mug of hot cider, corn mazes are a fun afternoon activity that gets people outside to enjoy the crisp fall air. There are corn mazes for every interest and skill level - guided mazes for children and haunted nighttime mazes for those who want a bit of a Halloween challenge. These mazes are all located at local farms with fresh fall produce and delicious baked goods which gives city residents more than one reason to get out and enjoy the country for a day.

Go exploring in Marini's Farm Corn Maze. In addition to finding the way out, participants encounter fun activities along the way that tie into the shape of the maze. The 2013 maze was in the shape of a dinosaur, so certain points of the maze were marked with fun facts about dinosaurs and fun pre-historic activities for kids. Ready for a fright? Connors Farm in Danvers creates a world class haunted maze every autumn. This year's America the Beautiful theme has participants weaving through corn shaped like a map of the United States. The Connors Farm website features an aerial view of this year's maze, information about hayrides and information on its upcoming festivals, feasts and parties. Just remember, the maze is only open during daylight hours, so visitors have to find their way out before sundown.

Kimball Farm in Haverhill has not one, but four corn mazes! And, depending on the weather, guests can also enjoy hay rides or sleigh rides. Kimball also hosts a more spooky version of its four mazes at night under every full moon of the fall. Don't forget to pick up a few farm-fresh pumpkins on the way out.
