With this incredible, harsh winter we have experienced in Boston this year, spring trends seem to be the only light at the end of the tunnel for this horrible weather. Thankfully, it's almost time to put away the scarfs and boots and start taking out the bright colors and havaianas. Samantha Crompton, better known as Fenway Fashionista, shares her favorite spring trends that ladies should look out for as the weather warms.

Fenway Fashionista is a Boston based fashion and lifestyle blog. "I hope to inspire my followers as much as other bloggers and fashionista's inspire me! Fashion isn't only incorporated in our clothing, it encompasses everything around us." Born in Boston and raised just down the road, Samantha is proud to call the dirty water city her home. "I believe fashion is a lifestyle," says Crompton, "Sarah Jessica Parker is my idol and I hope to inspire you as much as she inspires me!" So what will we see this spring?

White on White

"My favorite spring trend for the 2015 season is white on white, everything white." White is such a feminine and timeless color that you can do so much with it. What's great about white is you can add a bright statement necklace or a fun bag and create a whole new look. According to Crompton, it can also easily look dressy or casual depending on the day's activities and venue. White is a very versatile color.

Gingham

Fashion truly does go full circle, and gingham has a way of appearing in the fashion industry time and time again. "This spring you will be seeing gingham in many store windows and I am so excited for that." Gingham is so delicate and chic that it transforms from day to night seamlessly, adds Crompton. Plus, gingham brings a sense of classic Boston prep to any wardrobe.

Bold Floral Prints

If gingham isn't your style, bold floral prints will be sure to brighten your wardrobe instead. Shorts, skirts, tanks, and dresses; anything covered in bright florals just screams warm weather - a refreshing relief after a winter buried in snow, says Crompton. Whether you're someone who dresses to stand out and likes wearing floral rompers, or someone who is a little more understated and would like to wear a white tee with floral converse, bright florals will make it into your wardrobe some way this season.

Festival Style

Boho beauty is a reoccurring trend lately. This is one of Crompton's favorite spring trends because the options are truly endless. Fringe, layering, beaded necklaces; anything goes with the festival girl look. This spring all she can imagine is high-waisted jean shorts with floral tees and gladiator sandals with neon colored sunglasses. Look for suede bags and shoes, along with loose-fitting cotton blouses and short, flirty dresses.

Coordinates

Last but definitely not least, coordinates will definitely take center stage this spring, especially crop tops and long matching skirts. "I love matching tops and bottoms," says Crompton. What's great about coords is that its easy to also incorporate other spring trends into the overall look. Matching floral tops and bottoms, or even gingham from head to toe! According to Crompton, coordinates are going to be huge for spring 2015.
