Bobcat breaks into Vermont home, attacks elderly man inside
WINDSOR, Vt. - An elderly man in Vermont had a wild encounter with a bobcat when the animal broke into his home and attacked him.
Police said the bobcat was chasing a cat when it ran through an open door of the house in Windsor. The bobcat then attacked the man inside, but he fought it off and was able to trap it inside the bathroom.
The man was scratched but is expected to be OK. The bobcat was euthanized and is being tested for rabies.
