BOSTON (CBS) — The following communities have declared snow emergencies and parking bans for the January 7, 2022 storm.

Up to 6 inches of snow or more is possible in parts of Massachusetts on Friday.

Chelmsford: Parking ban in effect from midnight Thursday to 8 p.m. Friday

Chelsea: Parking ban starts at 6 a.m. Friday

Dartmouth: Parking ban starts at 6 p.m. Thursday through midnight Friday.

Everett: Parking ban starts at 10 p.m. Thursday

Fall River: Parking ban starts at 8 p.m. Thursday

Foxboro: Parking ban in effect from 6 p.m. Thursday to 6 p.m. Friday

Lynn: Snow emergency/parking ban begins at 10 p.m. Thursday

Manchester-By-The-Sea: Winter parking ban starts at midnight Thursday

Medford: Snow emergency and parking restrictions start at 2 a.m. Friday

North Andover: Parking ban in effect from midnight Thursday to midnight Friday

Pembroke: Parking ban in effect from 10 p.m. Thursday to 10 p.m. Friday

Quincy: Snow emergency parking rules start at 8 p.m. Thursday

Somerville: Snow emergency starts at 7:30 p.m. Thursday

Swansea: Parking ban in effect from 1 a.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Friday

Watertown: Snow emergency starts at 12:01 a.m. Friday

Worcester: Parking ban in effect starting midnight Thursday
