Cost Of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Increasing 4.1%

BOSTON (CBS) – The cost of sweet treats like a New England-made ice cream is going up.

Unilever, the company that owns Ben & Jerry's and Dove said it is increasing prices by 4.1%.

Ben & Jerry's is made at a factory in Waterbury, Vermont.

The hike is to make up for soaring supply chain costs and the potential for accelerated inflation.

Nestle and Procter & Gamble made similar announcements in the last week.
