BOSTON (CBS) — Flood barriers were put into place around the Aquarium MBTA station stop in Boston on Friday, as Tropical Storm Henri is expected to hit the area on Sunday.
The stop has been known to frequently flood during big storms. The MBTA plans to close the station on Sunday.
Service on the Green line D branch, Mattapan Trolley and ferry will all be suspended.
T officials are urging people to stay home and avoid unnecessary travel.
