Body Of Missing Swimmer Recovered From Hyde Park Pond

BOSTON (CBS) – The body of a missing swimmer has been recovered from Turtle Pond in Hyde Park.

The victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was a 19-year-old Boston resident. Their identity has not been released.

State Police, Boston Fire and Boston Police assisted in the search.

No other information has been released.

On Friday afternoon, State Police, health and environmental officials will hold a press conference to discuss water safety in Massachusetts.
