2 Men Working On Fall River Sidewalk Seriously Hurt By Falling Bricks
FALL RIVER (CBS) – Two men were taken to the hospital Tuesday with serious injuries after bricks fell off a Fall River building and landed on them.
It happened just before noon in the 200 block of South Main Street.
A 34-year-old and a 25-year-old man were working on the sidewalk when the bricks from the roof of an under construction building fell on them. Both were taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
The 34-year-old has injuries that are described as critical but stable. The 25-year-old is in stable condition.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
