Baby Otter Opens Eyes For 1st Time After Being Rescued From A Parking Lot

CHELMSFORD (CBS) -  A baby otter, found stranded and alone, is showing signs of progress.

The little guy, now named "Emmett", was only about a week old when he was brought into the Newhouse Wildlife Rescue of Chelmsford.

Emmett was found in the middle of a parking lot that was about to be paved. A month later, Emmett opened his eyes for the first time.

Newhouse Wildlife Rescue rehabilitates animals so they can be released back into the wild.
