1.2 Million Dr. Seuss Books Sold After Estate Announced It Was Pulling 6 Titles

BOSTON (CBS) – The sales of Dr. Seuss books have skyrocketed. Last week, the author's estate announced it would stop publishing six books which have racial and ethnic stereotyping.

Since then, more than 1.2 million copies of Dr. Seuss's books have sold.

The top sellers were not the books that are being pulled, though they saw a surge in sales also. "The Cat In The Hat" alone sold more than 100,000 copies.
