LIST: These Boston-Area Cities & Towns Still Have COVID Mask Mandates In Place
BOSTON (CBS) -- After a Omicron-driven spike in cases that raised COVID-19 to record levels in Massachusetts, many cities and towns brought back or extended face mask mandates to slow the spread. But with case numbers dropping dramatically in the past few weeks, most communities in the area have lifted mask requirements.
The latest mask advisory from the state's Department of Public Health is no longer recommending masks for all, regardless of vaccination status. Instead, masks are only advised for unvaccinated people and for those with underlying conditions or other risk factors.
