Gov. Baker Orders Flags Be Lowered To Honor Capitol Police Officers

BOSTON (CBS) -- Gov. Charlie Baker ordered flags at all state buildings to be flown at half-staff until Wednesday. The order began Sunday.

The move was a sign of respect for the sacrifice of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who was fatally injured during the Capitol Hill riot last Wednesday. It will also honor the memory of Officer Howard Liebengood, who was off-duty when he died yesterday.

The department did not comment on the cause of Liebengood's death.
