63 Communities Now At High Risk For Coronavirus In Massachusetts
BOSTON (CBS) - Sixty-three communities in Massachusetts are now considered high risk for coronavirus infections. The state released an updated color-coded map and data on Wednesday based on average positive test rates.

Based on the average daily cases per 100,000 residents, each city or town has been designated as a higher risk (red), moderate risk (yellow), or lower risk (green) community. Communities with fewer than 5 cases are not given a designation.
As of Wednesday, communities in the red zone include: Abington, Acushnet, Amherst, Attleboro, Auburn, Berkley, Boston, Brockton, Canton, Chelmsford, Chelsea, Dartmouth, East Bridgewater, East Longmeadow, Everett, Fairhaven, Fall River, Framingham, Hanover, Hanson, Haverhill, Hingham, Holbrook, Holliston, Holyoke, Hudson, Kingston, Lawrence, Leicester, Littleton, Lowell, Lynn, Malden, Marlboro, Marshfield, Methuen, Middleton, Milford, Milton, Nantucket, New Bedford, North Andover, Oxford, Pembroke, Plymouth, Randolph, Revere, Rockland, Saugus, Shrewsbury, Somerville, Southboro, Springfield, Sunderland, Tyngsboro, Wakefield, Waltham, Webster, West Newbury, Weymouth, Winthrop, Woburn and Worcester.
Last week, 40 communities were in the red zone.
Avon, Dracut, Dudley and Southbridge came out of the red zone since last week's report.
According to the Massachusetts Department of Health, compared to the previous two week period, 78% of communities have either seen improvement or no change in their average daily case numbers.
