PLYMOUTH (CBS) – A strong gust of wind flipped over a fire patrol plane at Plymouth Airport on Thursday afternoon.

Two people were on board the aircraft, which is owned by Plymouth County.

According to the FAA, “a single-engine Piper PA-18 ground looped after landing on Runway 24” at about 2:30 pm.

No injuries were reported. The pilot and observer were taken to an area hospital as a precaution.

The FAA will investigate the incident.
