MERRIMACK, N.H. (CBS) – The story of an exotic family pet missing from a Merrimack, New Hampshire home has a happy ending.

Residents in Merrimack had been on the lookout for an African Serval named “Spartacus” that escaped from his home on Peaslee Road Wednesday.

On Saturday, Merrimack Police posted that Spartacus has been found. He was trapped near the home where he escaped and is in good health.

The Serval, who is legally owned and permitted, has been reunited with his family.
