Onion Recall Expands After Hundreds Sickened In Salmonella Outbreak

BOSTON (CBS) – A salmonella recall linked to onions is expanding. At least 640 cases are tied to the outbreak.

In total, 85 people have been hospitalized.

The FDA is warning people not to eat any red, white, yellow or sweet onions from Thomson International.

Most of the cases have been reported on the west coast.
