20% Of Harvard University Freshman Class Have Deferred

BOSTON (CBS) -- Hundreds of students who were accepted to Harvard University for this fall are deferring their admissions. Twenty-percent of first-years will not start school.

All freshman students, except international students, were invited to live on campus. All classes will be taught online due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Harvard anticipates only 25% of its student body will be on campus.
