TAUNTON (CBS) – A Brockton man is accused of attacking a gay man in Taunton.

Michael Cates, 34, was ordered held without bail after he allegedly yelled a homosexual slur and punched a man in the face when the victim was outside his home with his husband. Police say Cates then got back in his car and drove off. Cates will face a dangerousness hearing on Aug. 6
