Baker Signs Law Allowing 'Cocktails To Go' In Massachusetts

BOSTON (CBS) - Massachusetts restaurants will now be allowed to sell "cocktails to go."

The new law signed by Governor Charlie Baker Monday lets restaurants sell mixed drinks in sealed containers to customers who buy food.

The law is meant to give restaurants a revenue boost during the coronavirus pandemic.

It will remain in effect until next February or until the state of emergency is lifted in Massachusetts.
