MBTA Bus, 2 Cars Involved In Serious Dorchester Crash
BOSTON (CBS) – Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving two cars and an MBTA bus in Dorchester.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. on Columbia Road near Seaver Street.
Two cars were heavily damaged in the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. An MBTA spokesman said one of the car drivers ran a flashing red light.
Two people from that car were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, the spokesman said. The Bus driver was brought to Brigham and Women's Hospital with minor injuries.
The bus suffered damage to the windshield and was towed from the scene.
