Body Found On Revere Beach, State Police Ask For Help With Identification

REVERE (CBS) -- Massachusetts State Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man found dead at Revere Beach. Troopers said the body washed ashore Tuesday near the Oak Island Bathhouse.

The cause of death is still under investigation, but police know the victim was a man between 30 and 40 years old, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a metal plate in his back, indicating that he had some kind of surgery there.

Anyone who may have known him is urged to call State Police.
