L.L. Bean Working To Make 10,000 Masks A Day During Coronavirus Crisis

BOSTON (CBS) – New England-based L.L. Bean is joining a growing list of companies using its resources to make protective equipment for health care workers during the coronavirus crisis.

The retailer is now making medical-grade masks using a material used for dog bed liners.

L.L. Bean is working to make 10,000 masks a day.

Those masks will be sent to facilities in the Maine health system.
