IPSWICH (CBS) – Three members of a family were seriously injured when they were struck by a car while they were bicycling in Ipswich Thursday afternoon.
Ipswich Police officers responded to Topsfield Road near Turner Hill and found a 58-year-old man, a 60-year-old woman and their 19-year-old son who had been struck by a Kia Soul. The two men were flown by medical helicopter to Mass. General Hospital in Boston with serious, life-threatening injuries. No charges or citations have been filed but the crash remains under investigation.
